Parrots Memorable Moments during The Capitol Visitation

12th Jun, 2019

The Parrots Kun Eikaiwa teacher are here once again for another adventure! Where to? Oh! Here in their beloved province’s Capitol Grounds!
But first, what’s a capitol?

Capitol is simply a building where legislators meet and have session. It also serves as a good ice candy. Many people go here to rest, go sight-seeing or just marvel at the beauty of the capitol. You can check if your province’s Capitol is in your town or city!
Before we go on here are some useful trivia’s about this place :
1. The province of Pangasinan is on the island of Luzon. Its capital is Lingayen. There are 2.5 million Filipinos living in Pangasinan, of which 1.5 million speak the Pangsinan language.
2. Pangasinan is the birthplace of former Philippine president Fidel V. Ramos and Speaker Jose de Venecia, Jr.
3. The name Pangasinan means "land of salt." (The word for "salt" is asin.) Pangasinan is a major producer of salt in the Philippines.

Here we have from left to right, Teacher Bing, Teacher Amber and Teacher Shine posing in front of the front gate of the Capitol. The colors of the building surely does spell A-E-S-T-H-E-T-I-C!

WORD POWER :
Aesthetic > something that’s concerned with beauty or the appreciation of beauty!

Teacher Amber

Teacher Bing

Teacher Shine

And the trio once again, this time you can see the Capitol building’s back door. You can also see one of the staff who is about to go outside. ( The three teachers are also “flexing” their cool hairstyles right!? )
The trio is surely having fun. The cool breeze, the magnificent beauty of the Capitol and of course bonding with each other is overall a treat!

Capitol and other landmarks not only serves as tourist destinations or eye candies. They also has their very own history on why they’re that important. How about in your country? Your province? Do you have any landmarks that has an amazing and unique story behind it? Come and share it with us
