Knock! Knock! Knock! Trick or treats?
Some of our teachers have adorned their Halloween costume and makeup for the celebration of Halloween Day.
Teacher Kaori as a squash monster lady. Those vibrant orange and black makeup color with the witch hat shows us a cute, beautiful and spooky squash monster lady. It makes me say “Wow”. She is so pretty with those lights as her background.
Teacher Veverly as a White Lady holding a doll. With blood trickling from her cheeks, messy hair and white clothes while holding a doll creeps and amazes me when I saw this picture. It is as if I saw a real white lady caught in a camera.
Teacher Hanna as a white lady holding a cat in black and white picture. With those shawl wrapped in her head, blood trickling from her face and picture effects brought me back from the old times. It seems like she is an old white lady still roaming here. Teacher Hanna said after sending this, “my cat did not recognize me and while we are taking pictures my cat almost clawed my face”. It’s not just us but her cat was also spooked.
Teacher Gav as a demon. Be ready, the demon is here. With those heavy black eyeliner around his eyes, black dress and pants, black horns shows us a majestic demon ready to cause havoc on Earth. But evil will not win the light ever. We will fight and will vanish him to the deepest hell where he came from.
Teacher Kiara as Sadako. I have watched The Ring with Sadako as the main antagonist when I was a child and it’s been haunting me since then. Those long hair, pale face and black eyeliner while crawling on the floor makes me remember my most feared Japanese horror movie. I had goosebumps until now.
Teacher Athalia as a ghost mermaid. Those beautiful, curly hair with white flowers, dark smudges of black makeup, and mermaid costume shows us a beautiful, scary ghost mermaid. A mermaid has grace her presence upon us. It makes me wonder. Are mermaids just a myth or is it real? This picture of Teacher Athalia with her son shows us a sweet family celebrating Halloween Day.
For such limited time, they have shown us their creativity to come up with this wonderful Halloween costume and makeup. I am spooked and amazed. Cute squash lady, white lady, demon, Sadako, and a ghost mermaid have brought our wild imaginations into action. They have brought us into another world of fantasy and horror. They make us feel scared, mesmerized and amazed all in the same time. Let’s give them a round of applause.
On the evening of October 31, 2021, kids with adorable Halloween costume knocking on the door of the houses of their neighborhood asking for trick or treat. Some going to Halloween party wearing Halloween costumes. And here in Parrots, some of our teachers have Halloween makeups while teaching their students.
