At Parrots English, learning goes beyond the classroom and Mr. Jack from Taiwan proved exactly that!
Mr. Jack, together with his lovely wife, visited the Philippines not only to study English but also to experience the beauty, culture and adventure our country has to offer. During their stay, they studied diligently at our school while also creating unforgettable memories with our Parrots English teachers.
MT. PINATUBO TRAIL ADVENTURE
Mr. Jack had the amazing opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty of Mt. Pinatubo alongside Teacher Joyce and Teacher Kyla. The journey required a long and adventurous walk but every single step was absolutely worth it.
From the scenic trails to the stunning crater view, the experience became one of the most unforgettable highlights of his stay. One of the highlights of their trip was the breathtaking Mt. Pinatubo Trail. The 4x4 ride across rocky rivers and lahar fields was already an adventure in itself.
After the exciting ride, they hiked towards the famous crater lake and the view was absolutely worth it! Mr. Jack shared how much he enjoyed the experience, especially reaching the crater and seeing the stunning turquoise lake up close. It was truly a rewarding and unforgettable moment for both of them.
They also explored Ana-an Falls via the Inararo Trail, one of the hidden gems near Mt. Pinatubo. The trail offered a peaceful and scenic hike, surrounded by lush greenery, unique rock formations and breathtaking mountain views.
Along the way, they experienced a bit of adventure as they crossed streams and walked along rugged paths, making the journey even more exciting. When they finally reached Ana-an Falls, they were welcomed by the refreshing cascade of crystal-clear water flowing down natural rock walls, truly a rewarding sight after the hike.
The cool water and serene atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax, take photos and enjoy nature. It was not just a hike but a memorable bonding experience filled with laughter, adventure and appreciation for the beauty of the Philippines.
They also visited Mount Puning, where they experienced a unique combination of adventure and relaxation. Their journey started with an exciting 4x4 ride across the lahar fields, surrounded by wide landscapes shaped by the historic eruption of Mount Pinatubo. The scenic views of ash canyons and rocky terrain made the trip feel like a desert adventure in the Philippines.
At the resort, they enjoyed the natural hot springs, where the warm mineral water helped them relax after their outdoor activities. They also tried the sand spa and volcanic mud pack, which are known for their soothing and skin-rejuvenating benefits.
The experience at Mt. Puning was both refreshing and memorable, a perfect balance of thrill and relaxation. It was another highlight of their study abroad journey, giving them not only fun experiences but also unforgettable memories together.
They also visited Haduan Bridge with Ma’am Marjorie, our staff. They admired the calm surroundings, enjoyed the fresh air and took beautiful photos together. It was a simple yet heartwarming experience that added more meaningful memories to their study abroad journey.
Their journey was not only about travel. Mr. Jack attended his English classes at Parrots English, actively joining lessons and conversations. Our teachers guided him in improving his grammar, pronunciation and real-life communication skills. He was also able to practice English during their trips and daily activities.
For Mr. Jack and his wife, this experience was more than learning English. They built friendships, explored beautiful places, experienced Filipino culture and created unforgettable memories especially their Mt. Pinatubo Trail adventure, the highlight of their stay.
