Hi! I’m Teacher Mara, an enthusiastic and dedicated English teacher. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English. I've got TEFL certificate which means that I am qualified to teach kids and even adults. Aside from that, I am also a former private English tutor for almost 4 years and I have been a practice teacher for almost three months. With that experience of mine, I immersed myself in a real-world setting and I understood the importance of modifying my teaching strategies. In my free time, I enjoy watching K-dramas and C-dramas, which have helped me gain familiarity with basic Hangul and Mandarin. I also love reading e-books by my favorite authors. I can sing and dance which can actually make all my lessons to be more engaging, interesting and of course informative. At Parrots English, we make learning fun and exciting.
