Parrots` Teachers in a farm①

24th Apr, 2019

Parrots teachers visited the farm to have an experience!

Parrots teachers visited the farm in Bayambang, where it takes one and half hours from Parrots building.

In Bayambang, we could see a lot of farmers.
When you come from Manila by bus, you pass this town and can see huge rice field.

Parrots teachers, Amber, Kaye and Joy visited here!
Let us see what they saw there!

What is this?
This is corn field.
Two types of corns are famous in the Philippines.
One is yellow and another is whiter.
Yellow one is sweeter than white one but the white corn is more popular in the Philippines.
You are able to buy it at 10 pesos in a market.

They experienced how to pick up tomato.

This is a Filipino tractor.
Most of farmers prefer to use a tractor made in Japan even though it is secondhand.
According to them, Japanese secondhand tractor has still been good to be used for farming.

This is Filipino pig and cow!
In the Philippines, they called this cow carabao.
Carabao has helped farmers since before the tractor became famous and reasonable.
Until now, we can see many carabaos are wandering in Lingayen.

After finishing the agricultural experience, they are going to explore something next.

Next blog, we will introduce you about the fresh food from the this farm.

Thank you so much
